Prerequisite｜先修要求

Students must have completed Grade 11 Chemistry, University Preparation (SCH3U) or an equivalent course. A strong foundation in algebra, chemical equations, stoichiometry and molecular structure is recommended.

Course Description｜课程说明

This course deepens students’ understanding of chemistry through the study of organic chemistry, molecular structure, energy changes, reaction rates, chemical equilibrium and electrochemistry. Students will develop advanced problem-solving, laboratory investigation and scientific communication skills in preparation for university programs in science, engineering and health-related fields.

本课程通过有机化学、分子结构、能量变化、反应速率、化学平衡及电化学等内容，深化学生对化学原理的理解。课程将培养学生的综合计算、实验探究及科学表达能力，为大学科学、工程、医学及健康相关专业做好准备。
