Prerequisite｜先修要求

No formal prerequisite is required. This course is recommended for students in Grades 11–12 who have strong English reading comprehension and essay-writing skills. Students should be prepared to read complex nonfiction texts and complete frequent analytical and argumentative writing.

Course Description｜课程说明

AP English Language and Composition is an introductory college-level composition course. Students analyze how writers use rhetorical choices to communicate ideas, influence audiences and construct arguments. Through close reading and regular writing practice, students develop sophisticated analytical, argumentative and evidence-based writing skills.

AP英语语言与写作是一门大学初级水平的英文写作课程。学生将分析作者如何运用修辞策略表达思想、影响读者并建立论证。通过非虚构文本精读与系统写作训练，学生将提高修辞分析、议论写作及运用证据进行论证的能力。
